Rim trail 44 was traversed many times.traveling the road from the paved HWY I stopped at the petrographs many times, also the delapilated church any other interesting spots. Your description of the history of deAtohha is quite an enlightenment as I am a history buff. Now in my late 70's I want to revisit NM AND see what I missed.
